We may soon miss this unfairly cold weather when spring arrives (if it arrives) because of its near-total lack of insects. After all, with the warm weather’s arrival comes ice cream…and bees. Lots of horrible bees.
Redditor puckbeaverton recently discovered the first sign of spring in the form of a gargantuan yellow jacket hive in his shed. The mere sight of this awful nest would make any entomophobe cringe in fear and pray for winter to return.
I would honestly cede the shed to the bees at this point.
If you look closely, you can see that this isn’t even all of the hive. It might just be the tip of the iceberg!
Personally, that’s way too many bees. I think I’d rather have three more months of winter than see that thing anywhere near me or my living quarters. No thanks, nature!
