Georgina Harwood is marking her 100th year by jumping out of a plane and being plunged in to shark infested waters.

Yesterday she took to the skies over the Melkbosstrand area north of Cape Town with 15 family members and friends as they launched themselves out of a plane in groups of three.

The exhilarating experience marked her third ever sky dive- her first in 2007 when she was 97 years old.

Speaking yesterday the adrenaline junkie said it was wonderful seeing all the others around her.

Tomorrow Georgina will take part in a shark dive which will involve being locked in a cage and plunged in to the ocean to feed the creatures.
