Jacob’s Well is a popular swimming spot for locals in Wimberley, Texas. The spring flows from Cyprus Creek and contains an underwater cave, which descends into separate chambers equalling 120 feet in total depth.
In case you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to dive into this particular well, Nate McDonald has you covered. Watch him bravely put on his GoPro and slowly descend down the creepily silent waters of Jacob’s Well. You’ll soon be glad you didn’t follow suit.
Nate’s desperate rise from the bottom made me terribly nervous. You can even hear his diaphragm opening up in hope of some air. I’m glad he made it to the surface. Apparently, as many as 8 people weren’t so lucky in previous attempts. Yikes!
