There are times when you overhear a stranger say something so weird or hilarious, you really have put in effort to not burst out laughing. Artist Avner Geller, however, strives for these moments. For the past few years he has been illustrating all of the bizarre and funny conversations he overhears and they will make you question just what goes on in those peoples’ heads.
“Having lived in Los Angeles for the past few years, I’ve witnessed trends come and go,” says the artist. “Hipster mustaches were replaced with man buns, yoga studios started to invite goats to their classes, and online dating became more hellish than ever.” Avner even collected some of his illustrations into a book titled Things That I Hear – check it out here!
