If you’ve ever watched Back to the Future and its sequels, you already know that the movies are stuffed with tons and tons of absolutely amazing futuristic gadgets. Back in the 1980s, when the second installment of the series came out, it was still impossible to imagine that such technology could actually be a part of real life in 2015. However, here we are in 2015 and we do have many of the awesome gadgets shown in the movie. Here are eight of them:
1. First up is the futuristic hoverboard. Rumors about it surfaced back in 2014, but if everything goes according to plan, it will hit the market in fall this year.

2. Another great gadget from Back to the Future II were the video glasses. Well, in case you were cut off from the Internet for the past year and a half, look up these two words: Google Glass. Not only do they play YouTube videos, but they are essentially a personal computer you can wear on your head.

3. The futuristic and unbelievable video communication from the movie is also present in 2015. Skype, Viber, Facebook – you name it – it’s all here.
4. The fourth gadget is the shoes’ power laces, which are available for purchase if you’re willing to spend $7,000.
